Water Services Association of Australia (WSAA) to lead the development of the new Digital Meters Water Industry Standard 🎉
This important industry initiative will help provide the clarity, confidence and consistency that utilities and councils have been calling for as digital metering continues to scale across the country.
Our work will focus on:
💧Developing a nationally aligned, supplier-agnostic Digital Meters Water Industry Standard
💧Updating existing metering codes and guidance
💧Refreshing metering drawings to support modern digital metering configurations
💧Providing clear, practical guidance across the full lifecycle: planning → procurement → installation → commissioning → operations → long-term management
💧Ensuring interoperability, safety, metrology, cybersecurity and operational best practice are embedded throughout
This represents a significant milestone for the sector and a fantastic opportunity for the Nucleus3 group to continue supporting utilities and councils on their digital transformation journeys.
